Please help my friend Cyndi name her baby. This little boy is set to arrive soon and needs a name. I put her and her husbands top choices on a poll to vote on - so please vote and help her out. They want an unusual name so if you have any other suggestions please comment and let her know. Their last name is Haines and their other children's names are Grace, Roby and Ayden-so those names are out!

Another Milestone!
While bathing Roc this morning I discovered that he has a tooth! Yeah! It is the bottom right one. It must have come in during the night-or maybe yesterday, as I have been checking on a regular basis and this is the first time I have noticed it. Yeah for my little guy!

New Pictures
Hannah came over a while ago to take a six month photo shoot of Roc. I just got my pictures today and put them in the frame. Hannah did a great job and it was hard to choose as there were a lot of good ones. Here is a picture of the collage. (also for those who may not know, if you click on the picture it will make it bigger)
Also I had her do a photo shoot of Roc and Ella in their Husky jerseys. I wanted to redo the pictures in my breakfast nook (excuse the Christmas candy as I have not changed it over to Valentines day, I can't decide between M&M's or the conversation hearts, I am leaning towards the hearts though) and I bought a small frame for Kevin to put at his office. It is a surprise, and the funny thing is a few days ok he said he wanted to decorate his office at work. Little did he know I already had something in mind. The other frame is a collage with hooks for your keys, I am going to put this by the door to the garage. These are just random pictures that I took.
Now does anyone who uses blogger know how to get the pictures lined up how you want. I upload them and try to get them where I want them and they don't stay. Help! Also the color quality is not good in these, is it my picture taking skills? Maybe...but just a side note the coloring is way better in person-so sorry for the poor quality in the post but I wanted to post the photo shoot regardless.

Fun in the Ball Castle
Kevin had the day off today, so Ella and I headed out to Starbucks to meet Abby and her girls, Katie/Sadie, Hannah/Emmett, and my Mom. I left Roc home to nap and hang out with his daddy. Then I decided to go to Costco with Abby (we made it out the door with no children, if you can imagine that). Before I had Roc I seemed to frequent the place around three times a week as I would shop for my mom for her business, but since I have had Roc I have really only made it out there a handful of times. I kinda miss it. Abby and I had fun and finished off the trip with one of the delicious Costco ice cream bars. While they are delicious I have to admit that now I feel a bit sick. While I was gone Roc had a lot of fun playing in the ball castle we have. This is a small one, but works really well for him since he is not totally stable on sitting on his own yet.
He can be propped in it and if he falls over he will not hurt himself.
Also Ella found a motorized toothbrush in our bathroom and has been enjoying it today. She seems to like it and wants to brush her teeth, I may just have her use this as getting her to brush her teeth is not easy.

Singing to her baby
I was sitting down at the computer today and Ella brought her chair and one of her dolls in and sat down by me, she started singing "Jesus Loves Me" to her baby, so I quietly got my camera on to capture this. I had to do it so she did not know, as she would have stopped had she known. I thought this was too cute not to post. Hope you can understand her, but she is signing Jesus loves Me and then started in on the B-I-B-L-E song that they sing in Sunday School.

Why?
Ok just another funny from Ella. After about the 100th "why" yesterday (morning mind you) I kiddingly said Ella do you think you can go one hour without saying "why" She responded with a very serous "No, I cannot" (it may be you had to have been there, but her seriousness and tone made me laugh) Oh what a girl.
Children's Museum
Katie and I have been wanting to check out the Children's Museum here in Yakima, so yesterday we decided to go. It was ok, the girls had fun but it seemed to be more geared towards school aged children, plus it seemed a little outdated. Katie declared that if she struck it rich she would build her own and it would be much better. I am all for that Katie! A few shots from our adventure.
6 months exactly
Here is a picture of my little man just as he turned 6 months, I took this at 3:17 pm today.
And of course a couple of shots from minutes after he was born. What a doll.

6 Months Old
Well tomorrow at 3:17 pm he will be. I can't believe my little boy is now almost six months old.
At six months old he can now roll over from stomach to back and recently he has been doing back to stomach! Yeah for him. I started him on fruits and vegetables a few weeks ago. The first time I gave him pears mixed with rice cereal and his face puckered up like I was giving him a lemon. He is getting more used to the taste of food but sometimes he gags? Not sure why? Too thick? Last night I gave him a sippy cup with water and he seemed to enjoy it. I took the plug out so he would get the water easier, as he gets used to it I will put the plug back in. He also loves to laugh and it does not take much to get him to laugh, it is so cute. He also really loves Ella, loves to watch her play and she makes him laugh alot, also when we are driving in the car he will try to sit up as much as possible to look over to watch Ella, he will just look at her and give his big smile! He also can sit on his own for a while, he is not totally stable yet. He loves the jonny jumpup too and occasionally the swing is fun too. I think he will be moving soon, as when he is on his stomach he scoots some. No teeth yet, but my guess is they will start arriving soon. I am having Hannah do a photo shoot of him tomorrow so soon my empty frame will be filled. I will post some of these when they are done.

Gun It?
So our house has a fairly steep gravel driveway. If it snows alot I am snowed in for sure, as my car does not make it up the hill. While there is still snow on the road, lately I have been able to get out of the drive way provided I can get a good speed going and shoot up the hill. A while back I said to Ella that I need to gun it and we will make it out of the driveway. So now Ella tells me to "gun it mommy" whenever we leave (whether there is snow or not). Well it snowed some yesterday and I figured I would be snowed in, but I wanted to go to Fred Meyer today so I decided to try. Needless to say I had a very hard time, it probably took me at least 5 or 6 tries, I think mostly because it was still early morning and there was a thin layer of ice on the concrete part of our driveway. While it is not fun having a hard time getting out of the driveway, it was a bit amusing as I had a little girl in the back cheering me on with "Gun it" "Gun it". We finally made it after I decided to only try one more time (as I did not want to ruin the car/tires and mostly importantly harm the children). I think from now on I will wait till the snow it a bit more melted (or park the car at the top of the hill). Kevin thinks we should pave, but I am voting for a four wheel drive vehicle:)
Cabinet Hardware
I have be waiting for the cabinet knobs at Fred Meyer to go on sale. I was hoping for a buy one get one free, but did not want to hold out any longer so I settled for a buy two get one free. I got these about a week ago and Kevin put them on the cabinets last weekend. The look really good, but I miscounted so I have to wait for a sale again so we can finish. We did get the most of it done though. (or I should say Kevin did) Thank you Kevin! I went to take a picture of them and Ella wanted to be in the picture too. Vanna White Watch out, you have some competition on your hands!

Feeding the Camels?
On New Years Day we decided to take the kiddos up to feed the elks, or camels as Ella called them. Just a short drive on Highway 12 past Naches there is a Elk Feeding Station and another short trail you can walk up to see more elk. Plus on the other side of the highway there is a big horned sheep feeding station. We got there around 10 and were pretty much the only ones there. Then we noticed a sign that said the feeding was at 1:30. So we looked at the elk that were there for a while and then drove to the other spot and walked up the trail to look at them there for a while and then drove to look at the sheep. We decided that since we made the drive we might as well wait around till the feeding started. So to kill some more time we ate lunch in Naches and then drove back to the feeding station. It was really crowded. I was a bit surprised to see so many people there. Also there is a truck that will take you out into the middle of the elk to watch the feeding closer. You have to sign up for this and so I am thinking of taking my Grandma up one day during the week and doing this. It will hopefully be less crowded and then hopefully we can take the ride out into the filed. I think Ella would like this as she really had fun. The following pictures are at the elk station, the sheep station, and hanging out in the car to look at the sheep as it was much warmer. Kev put Roc on the steering wheel to drive, so of course Ella had to take a turn and a video of Ella calling for the Elk to come closer.
