This Sunday we had Callie dedicated. It was a great service! Our pastor did a great job and it was a very meaningful and personal service. We chose Psalm 121 as her life scripture, this really is a life scripture we have for all our children. Also we requested "Be Thou My Vision" to be sung. This is really my favorite hymn, but the words really speak to how I hope my children can live their lives. The worship team did a great job with this. We are so blessed to be a part of this church! Here are some pictures (please ignore my hair, i am so embarrassed by it-i really need a haircut!) My only regret is that we did not record this to view later-bummer!
Please keep my sister and her family in your prayers today. They are trying to get Alex home to them as soon as possible. For those of you who don't know they are adopting him from Haiti and he is currently in an orphanage that is at its maximum capacity and it expecting to be receiving even more children that were orphaned during the earthquake. All the children in the orphanage now have adoptive families waiting for them. If Haiti is willing to release them on humanitarian visas they will have room for more newly orphaned children. If you are willing please take a moment to call your senator and plead with them that they will do what they can to make this happen.
