Sick Again!

Poor Ella is sick again! Aggg.. She has been throwing up since early Monday morning. This is her third time with the flu this season, so if she is not better by tomorrow we are headed to the doctor to see if it is more than the viral stuff that is going around. I was just on the phone with Angie (her doctor's nurse) and she said some stuff is still going around. I can't believe this. I gave her some waffle this morning and she seems to be doing ok and just now fell asleep so she is still weak and tired. Roc threw up once yesterday and then a bit just after I fed him before bed, but he seems ok today. Poor Ella she is just not herself and has basically laid on the couch and our bed since Monday morning. Hopefully she will be on the mend soon.

Also on a more happy note Roc has been standing on his own for short periods of time (less than 5 seconds). I wonder if he will be walking soon?

After reading Hannah's blog about looking up Emmett's stats I decided to do this too-since I forgot to ask where Roc was at the nine month appointment. He is in the 3-5 percentile for weight, which I will say worries me some. But the thing is these stats are based on what all other babies his age weigh, so how do you know what is a normal weight? Roc is a mover so I think this is why he has slimmed down some but he also is not a big eater. I wish I could put him on milk since he loves drinking out of his cup with a straw and if there was something is there besides water then he would actually be getting some nutrients. Ok he is awake now so off to keep him occupied so Ella can rest.

I'm sorry to hear Ella is sick!! No fun for the kid or the mom. :( Sophie's started on sunday so we're on day 4. The dr told me that a virus could easily be 7 days so I don't know. Her fever is down today so that's a good sign. Hope the rest of you stay healthy!

We will keep praying for Ella.
And when we took Hailey to feeding clinic they said to Never let her drink water. It can fill them up and it is no calories. I would find out about putting formula in the cup or expressed breast milk.

i have two small cans of formula, if you want to try them. (actually three, but one is soy) i know you could put it in a cup, but you would have to make sure he drinks it within an hour, that's the only bad thing about formula. but you could always just do 2 oz at a time. let me know if you want them.
poor little ella. let me know if you need any help.
