So I had my ultrasound today, and thankfully did not find out the sex. I told the gal I did not want to know but was afraid I would accidentally find out-Yeah that I did not! Katie watched the kiddos for me which I am grateful for. Ella does great sitting at doctor's offices but Roc is another story and so it is nice to leave him somewhere else.
Speaking of Roc is new thing is to jump off the coffee table to the floor, I am a little concerned that he is going to break a bone doing this and am dreading the day he figures out how to climb and jump out of the crib. Because he likes to jump and climb on everything I am really thinking of enrolling him in a tumbling class they have at Gymnastics plus. It is for 18 months to 3 (i think) and I am thinking if he does this maybe he will get it out of his system and not do it at home! ha ha I doubt it, but it is worth a try.
Ella has really been getting into changing her bitty baby's clothes. She can now dress the doll herself and recently I got her a shoe organizer that hangs from her closet. It has little mesh pockets so I put each outfit in a pocket. Now they are not all jumbled in a box and she can easily get a complete matching outfit on the babe. I think this has helped her alot because I notice new outfits on the doll frequently.
Yesterday when Ella got up she asked me if the baby was out of my tummy yet. I thought that was pretty cute. I told her if it was out she would defiantly know!
This past Friday night Kevin and I went out for dinner-by ourselves! Something we have not done since before Roc was born-so it was much needed. Our faithful babysitter-Drew-did a great job.
Finally, this Sunday night someone managed to break into our mailbox. Our mailbox is located down the street from us so we can't see it from our house. For this reason we have a locked one, but we don't get our mail everyday. We do get it every few days so the most mail that was in there could only be from a day or two and based on the timing of certain things we get I doubt there was anything important in it, but still this is annoying and I send for alot of freebies/coupons so I hope they didn't get any of this stuff! Whoever did this, did it to all the boxes in our section, plus as you drive down the road you can see they hit the whole street. Kevin's boss lives at the end of the street below us and hers was broken into too. Why can't people just leave peoples things alone!
ok enough rambling-off to get a snack!
The first post of many!

I have decided with Emmett, that until he gets really hurt doing rambunctious things, I will just let him do it. I don't like it, but they are boys and they need to do things that girls don't. Pretty soon, you can let him play outside more.
Ella is getting to be such a big girl lately! I noticed that the other day at mom's.
I'm so glad the ultrasound went well. Although it isn't quite as exciting when you don't find out don't you think?
I know the woman who owns Gymnastics Plus. She's really nice.
Sorry your mailbox got broken into. What a pain! It cracks me up that you're worried about your coupons/freebies. :) Glad everything went well with the ultrasound for you!!
