Weekend fun and a little more

Ella and Sadie love getting together and playing. Sunday Ella went to Sadie's for the afternoon. While they were playing they discovered some Dry Erase markers and decided to draw all over themselves. Amazingly there was none on the clothes! Aren't they cute though, I think we will show this one at their weddings!

Roc has really been getting into reading books more, meaning he will sit and listen to a story and point stuff out in the pictures or ask questions about the story. He also likes to look at books himself. One of his favorites is The Busy Spider. His favorite page is the one with the rooster and I love the way Roc says Cock a Doodle Do. He has recently discovered a rooster in The Happy Man and His Dump Truck. So we read this multiple times and Roc really gets into it. Here is a video of him saying Cock a Doodle Do. He is a bit distracted by playing so it is not one of his best renditions but you will get the idea.

Sunday afternoon we also met up with our Pastor and wife and their son Ian, who is exactly 4 months younger than Roc. We hung out at a park (I took my camera but did not get any pictures-opps) for a while but it was so windy we decided to go get something to eat instead. While Roc and Ella stood on chairs, looked out windows and spilled water everywhere, Ian sat happily in his highchair-with a bib on-eating his dinner-Aubrey has trained him well. I am impressed! That night as we were getting them ready for bed Roc kept saying Buddy Ian, Buddy Ian. It was so cute. It was fun getting together with them and we are so glad for them and all they do for our church.

Ella and Roc love to give concerts on the coffee table. Here are a few for you to enjoy-hopefully as much as I do.

So whose idea were the dry erase markers?

I think the singing should be shown at their weddings. It definitely made Rogelio LOL!

Great post, cute children, and quite creative they are. The girls will watch the video in the morning and love it!
