Roc had is nine month check up yesterday. He now weights 17 lbs 13 oz, is 28.5 inches long and his head circumference is 18 in. He did not gain much weight so now we have to go back for a weight check in a month. I had to do this with Ella too, not sure if I should be worried or not. I am supposed to try to give him lots of high fat foods to see if he will gain more weight. He eats solids foods but will only eat a few bites then seems to be done so it is hard to get him to eat much at a time...I used to chase Ella around to get her to eat as she did not want to sit in the highchair and eat either. Not sure if I want to start this habit again! Oh well it is only a season and I guess I just need to get through it!

wow...emmett was over 20# at his 9-month! it probably seems like he's small since he started out so big. i think they make a bigger deal out of it than it really needs to be.

I'm sure Roc is fine. He's probably just thinned out because he's gotten more active. Just give him the good, fattening stuff!! :)
I love hearing all the stats. Only moms are so excited to hear about those things! Sounds like he's doing great though. And I wouldn't worry either about the decline on the charts. :)
